HEAD OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT – LEADING DIGITAL AGENCY

 

JOB PURPOSE:

 

The Head of Project Management is responsible for the internal and external leadership of large, complex, unstructured projects, or the management of several small to midsize projects.  This position will focus on all of the Agency’s high profile accounts and he/she will facilitate timely and accurate delivery of all components of the project.

 

 

A strong component of this role is partnering with the key clients adopting a consultative approach via significant face-to-face interaction. As such this role will ideally suit someone with a strong project management background who is looking for a high visibility role leading client engagements, participating in high level round table discussions, driving best-in-class solutions and becoming a true partner whose opinion is sought and trusted both internally and externally.

 

Experience

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

·         Excellent professional project management experience, preferably in a marketing / digital agency or IT management consultancy

·         Understanding of project management best practices including budgeting, resourcing and client communications 

·         Resource allocation and budgetary control of projects up to £1m

·         Online project management experience including (Online Advertising, Website Implementation, Intranet/Extranet, Metrics and Optimisation)

·         Strong understanding of business, economic, marketing and creative principles

·         Proven leadership ability with strong client relationship management skills

·         My client places significant emphasis on qualities such as intellectual curiosity, determination, creativity, self-confidence and drive

SKILLS:

·         Advanced Microsoft Project, Excel and PowerPoint experience

·         Strong presentation, training, organisation and communications skills
