Responsible to:

Head of New Media & IT

Job purpose:

To generate new business and build professional relationships with new and existing clients and candidates, through developed communications and skilled negotiations. You will provide an innovative and professional recruitment consultancy service that not only delivers but exceeds client and candidate expectations, enabling to build lasting successful relationships.

Experience

General

1.To work within the policies and procedures of New Directions Professional Ltd to ensurethe effective running of the department.

Business Development

1.Develop new business opportunities by identifying and developing relationships with existing and new clients.

2.Managing the sales pipeline to ensure consistent performance.

3.Proactively promoting candidates through candidate marketing calls and mailshots.

4.Enhancing all sales initiatives by ensuring all appropriate leads are recorded for action in line the company business development plan.

Service - Clients

1. Obtaining full job specifications and person specifications from clients maximising each opportunity for placements.
2. Visiting clients to obtain full job specs and ensure you have a full understanding of their business needs.
3. Effectively matching candidates to vacancies
4. Arranging interview, ensuring full candidate and client briefing.
5. Carrying out post placement checks.
6. Regularly reviewing customer satisfaction levels to ensure that they are in line with expectations.

Candidates

1. Preparing and facilitating the ongoing attraction, selection and recruitment of candidates ensuring an accurate and appropriate database to meet all clients’ needs.
2. Screening, interviewing and assessing candidates in line with company policy, ensuring full and comprehensive understanding of their job and career requirements.
