ONLINE MERCHANDISING SPECIALIST

COMPANY:
Provides enterprise search and merchandising software tailored to the needs of online sales channels and whose customers include many of the largest online sellers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will be a first port of call to customers who will look to you for new ideas and new ways to drive online merchandising improvements. You will be expected to participate actively in making decisions that will result in company wide changes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Working directly with customers’ key personnel to map online business objectives to the application capabilities and specific online merchandising initiatives

• Provide a consultative approach on customer site when accompanying sales personnel - working in either a pre or post sales capacity

• Be responsible for a list of named accounts and leverage company resources, processes and expertise to deliver exceptional client business support and high impact merchandising insights

• Work closely with multiple groups within the company to drive product direction and enhance client services

 

Experience

The Merchandising Specialist must have:

• Client relationship management experience with a focus on customer satisfaction and delivering results.

• Ability to multi-task.  You will manage multiple internal and deadline-driven client projects that will require dynamic, real-time prioritization based on multiple factors. 

• Outstanding problem solving skills and attention to detail.  Must be able to think creatively about issues to find a solution.

• Online merchandising experience required - quantitative analysis backgrounds are a plus.
