DESIGN DIRECTOR – LEADING DIGITAL AGENCY

Job outline:
Driven by new challenges and a highly dynamic environment, our talented team is now looking for a Design Director. This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative and inspiring creative leader.
• To conceptualise creative ideas to communicate our clients’ strategic and brand messages in an online environment
• To produce and passionately present innovative, top of the range designs for high-profile clients
• To lead and inspire a growing team of designers
• To manage the creative output and constantly push the boundaries of creativity
• To lead the design and creative process

Experience

Candidate profile:
• You have at least five years of leading design agency experience, with a proven track record and strong portfolio of recent corporate design for major brands
• You possess a solid understanding of brands and how to communicate a brand, reach an audience, lead discussions with the client about their brand strategy and translate this into creative concepts across a wide range of media
• You have a minimum of two years’ experience in leading and motivating a design team and the ability to demonstrate effective management of performance and workload of a busy studio
• You are articulate and confident to pitch, present and liaise with high profile clients
• You benefit from a good understanding of information architecture and usability
• Knowledge of animation, video editing and 3D modelling is an advantage

Salary:  £45-55K
