Vacancy Details: Senior Account Planner - Leading Interactive Agency

Job

The role of the Senior Planner is to, in partnership with the Account Leads, make campaigns more successful through the innovative application of breakthrough customer insights that inspire creatives and the client, and then drive the application of this customer insight into the development of award-winning customer experiences.

Specifically the role includes:

  • Write award winning creative briefs centred on breakthrough insights
  • Build demand for the account planning role - demonstrate the impact, build momentum and help plan how the account can grow with both internal and external teams.
  • Presenting to senior clients with confidence and eloquence, and become the Digital evangelist/guardian of all projects
  • Working intra-agency to excite, enthuse and educate on “integrated digital” with the multiple agency partners
  • Also partner to maximize insight derived from their analytics and insure key findings are applied to optimize web content & contact strategies.
  • Lead brainstorms that produce breakthrough insight and maximize team contributions

Experience

  • Understanding of how to use digital to achieve client objectives
  • Experience formulating successful brand positioning work and applying customer insight to the development of award-winning marketing campaigns
  • Guiding or facilitating the process of communications development through inspirational creative briefs resulting in outstanding creative ideas
  • Knowledge of online analytical tools (such as Omniture, Web Trends, NedStats, etc) to inform web content optimisation strategies and measure the effectiveness of online campaigns (including organic & paid-for search).
  • Being a champion for the role of technology within an integrated communications environment (e.g. can you talk above-the-line as well as digital)
